The Tulane Rowing team will leave for Tennessee this Thursday to race in the 2014 Chattanooga Head Race on Saturday, October 11th. Three boats have been entered for both the men’s and women’s squads, and the team is ready to compete in its first regatta of the semester after over a month of training.
Upon return from Chattanooga, the team will begin practicing at a new location on the Industrial Canal. Everyone has been looking forward to a new dock and a new boathouse this season, and we are quite grateful for all of the time and hard work that has gone into this project.
It’s been a good start to the season. This team has a lot of talent as well as great potential for growth. We are ready to work hard and to have a successful season. Row wave!
